Ivona Fregl
Ivona Fregl (Belgrade, 1969) graduated in 2005 from the Department of Art History at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, specialising in the History of Architecture. From 2016 to 2018, she worked as a curator and member of the Artistic Council of the Lucida Gallery in Belgrade. Fregl is a co-founder and director of ART-ZOOM, a non-governmental organisation dedicated to the development and advancement of visual and fine arts. Since 2018, she has worked as an independent curator. Fregl has organised and realised more than fifty solo and group exhibitions and has authored texts for their accompanying catalogues. She is a member of ULUPUDS (Association of Applied Arts Artists and Designers of Serbia), holding the status of an independent artist and cultural professional.
